Talk:How can I make it so that an inn restores HP, but not MP?

Mike C. I'd like to point out that inns with scripts still heal the HP and MP automatically, so this doesn't do anything. You would need to do everything manually to not heal MP.

Daokaioshin: By automated, I mean was it some sort of spam robot? It didn't seem to improve the article, just reword things to make them bulkier. I also notice that the previous IP kept changing 'innkeeper' to 'inn tender,' so it might just be a non-native english speaker making what they see as improvements to grammar.

Mike C. I doubt it's a spambot, but it could very well be a human. I try my best to discourage them from editing, but there's not much I can do to prevent them.

Bob the Hamster: I believe that one or more editors mistakenly believed that the revise tag was there because of poor grammar. That is not a bad guess, since that is the most common reason for an article to be marked revise, but the main problems with this article were (A) it was very confusing, and (B) the example had some mistakes. That is why I had added the rewrite tag. After re-reading the article carefully, I concluded that problem (A) is is unsolvable (in the context of the article) and added the "Short Answer" section to make it clear to readers that this is not a standard feature. As for the example, I fixed the script to detect if you don't have enough money to pay for the fake inn, and I fixed the text box conditional example, which was confusingly written to resemble plotscripting code.

I think the best thing to do is just implement this feature as a shop bitset. It would not be hard to do, and I think it is something that game authors will want to do reasonably often.

Bis_Senshi I've read the article and I would like to point out that we don't know when the player pay for the stay. Anyway there is also a "eill" instead of "will" in it. Enjoy!

Bis_Senshi Whoops! I've said that "we don't know when the player pay for the stay" but it appears that the "pay money (amount)" command include money substract in it. Sorry for posting wrong information! Does somoene knows "How do I change the main hero during a cutscene so that the player can't notice it?" I've tried to put an answer but couldn't. I think it may useful to know! Enjoy!
