DosBox

This article only applies to the DOS/QuickBasic 16-bit version. It is not relevant for the current 32/64 bit Windows/Linux/Mac/etc versions

DOSBOX is a free/open-source DOS emulator allows you to run DOS games on Windows 2000 and XP with better compatability than is available with Windows's built-in DOS support. It also allows you to play DOS games on Linux, Macintosh, FreeBSD, BeOS and other operating systems. Unfortunately it can be slower than real DOS.
