Chronoboy Adventures is full of unique elements to it's world, this page has all the Lore in the world of Torro.

Water gates[edit]

According to legend...

Red[edit]

Red gates are used for simple point to point traveling. It's power can be graphed to a saphire stone. Due to all the saphire mines, we can graph many stones and sell them at low prices in shops. Local Guardian's graph many for their villagers.

Blue[edit]

Blue gates are an interesting one... They are very difficult to graph. They appear in specific places at random times, it may seem. A blue gates destination point is determined by the current tide. Under pure myth, they say there is a very poweful spell which can command the tides at will, to force a gate and a destination point.

Green[edit]

Green gates are mostly a mystery. Some say they are gates through time, many say they are gates to the gods, others simply deny their existence.

The world of Torro[edit]

The world is Torro is divided into separate ruling states. At the time of release, before any expansion packs, there will be a total of two states fully accessible.

Labina[edit]

Mainly a farming state, they supply a lot of goods to the other states. The capital city, Franchu is a very rich city, besides the slums located directly south of town. The main farming town is Waku, located at the northern side of the state. A few locations of interest include, the Waku Caverns, Labina Lake, and Labina Pass. Labina is only neighbors to a single state, Pyrota.

Pyrota[edit]

There are mainly mountain paths in this state, and security in and out of this state is very high. At the beginning of the game, there is a civil revolution as the populace dislikes the high security and how difficult it is to travel to neighboring states. There is a sage in northern Pyrota who has been researching water gates.

Rytana[edit]

There is little known about this state in the far west, more will be disclosed as the expansion comes near release.

Enemies of Torro[edit]

This list below only concludes that of the Labina state, you as the lost boy can visit the many other locations to discover new enemies and threats. Labina is also one of the easiest areas in the game, as it is meant to stage out the main story, not to fight hoards of demons and monsters. The monsters have English names, as nowhere in the game does an NPC tell the lost boy their real names. The lost boy sees the animal as resembling one from his own world, such as a wolf.

Wolf[edit]

They live in the forests and tend to chase the lost boy when he wanders there. Bandits are known to tame these wild animals and use them as attack dogs upon the lost boy.

Swashbuckler[edit]

Smart and swift, they normally lead a band of enemies. They also carry cure potions on them and cure themselves ever so often. Upon death, they may also drop a potion.

Bandit[edit]

Dumb and witty, although some have showed signs of intellect, this is greatly frowned upon by the Swashbuckler community. Bandits have the ability to do multiple dagger hits in one battle round. Upon death, they may also drop some Wool.

Troll[edit]

They normally attack the lost boy in groups and are very strong. It would be recommended to be a higher level before engaging with these beasts. They also have the ability to Fortify their defense. An unequipped lone adventurer can die in merely a 2 hits from a Troll.

MagiTroll[edit]

Not much is known of the MagiTrolls, they are known for keen intellect and magical abilities in fire magic.

Gargoyle[edit]

A powerful winged demon which are rarely seen, they are attracted to bright green for some strange reason. Upon first appearing in this new world, the lost boy is attached by such a demon.

History of Torro[edit]

Not much is known about the past of this world, as many of the historic artifacts have decay over the ages. A few Local Guardians know parts of the History and Legends. A conflict many decades ago caused the world to split into separately manageable states. Each state have it's own border line, which is mainly guarded. Although the states do trade goods among each other, they remain separate and rarely speak to one an other.

The Tempest Age[edit]

Not much is known about the Local Guardians and how they obtained the powers which they currently have, however here are the idea flowing around the towns of Torro.

A very powerful entity, or a god, selected a few people and gave them the power of manage the towns to keep order.

There is a more powerful Guardian who manages the Local Guardians, their powers, and their towns.

There are few other ideas which you will discover through the course of story, and will be part of the main quest to uncover the secrets of the Local Guardians.

Age of Tides[edit]

This is the age where people believe the Water gates were first discovered. Not everything is known of the water gates, but a mere legend of how they operate.

After finding out that a red water gate can be graphed to a Saphire stone, Local Guardians from across the lands went in search of Saphire mines. There are many of these mines throughout the world.

The water gates made traversing the world much easier and quicker, some refuse to use the water gates as they are unsure of true origin.
