Why doesn't VDMSound work on my computer?

VDMSound is a sound-compatability program that many people need to use in order to make music in DOS programs like the OHRRPGCE work.

VDMSound works best on Windows XP, but should also work on Windows 2000. A unofficial version is also available for Windows 98.

If VDMSound does not work on your computer, you need to know which version of windows you are using, and you need to be able to describe your problem in as much detail as possible. Are you having a problem installing? A problem running? Are you getting an error message? No sound? Bad sound quality? The more information you can provide, the better.

Many OHRRPGCE users have experience with VDMSound, and may be able to help you, but you can get better help by checking the official VDMSound forum, where your question may already be answered.
