Game Talk:Wandering Hamster/soundtrack
Mike C. RE Clorinda False, Adieu!: http://www.classicalarchives.com/early/m.html Try that page. It requires registration, but it claims that the midis are public domain. Might be able to score a few others, too.
Bob the Hamster: Ah, cool... but midi sites often lie about that, so I am a skeptic by default. I found the following info:
james@atmaweapon:~/tmp$ strings morl-clo.mid MThd MTrk MTrk S Clorinda False, Adieu! 1594 MTrk A Madrigal by Thomas Morley MTrk T MIDI by Marty Weimer 6/8/95 MTrk B weimermt@libby.org
That e-mail address is long dead, but some googling located martin.weimer@chemie.uni-erlangen.de which I have mailed for clarification
FyreWulff This is a pretty cool page. I think I might steal this layout for the Jade soundtrack so I can clean out unlicensed music and have more eyes looking at it
The search continues[edit]
Mike C.: I thought this was somewhat humourous and simultaneously disheartening while searching for GPL midis: A google search
Internal Song Numbers?[edit]
Hello; when I unlump the game the midi files are exposed by song number (meaning there's no title or other associative information readily available). Would you all please add the game-internal song number to the table so that I can name the midis appropriately in my collection?
TMC (talk): You know... if you open the game in the editor and go to the Import Music menu you'll see the song numbers. (Though you would only see it all on one screen like this in the next version, Fufluns)
