Re: non-obvious incompatibilities:

what should a page be called that lists ports of the OHR? Is it within the scope of this wiki? A link to such a page would fit well there.

Mike: How about OHRRPGCE Source Ports?

NeoTA Okay :) Done (for the four i know of). Needs some filling in (one-line-goal-summary mainly).

Mike: I added my 2.1 cents. BTW, who's doing the Battle-free Game.exe?

NeoTA: TheMadCacti has done the battle-free GAME.EXE. I don't know where it can be downloaded, though.

Mike: I dunno if "symmetry" is a good word. It's not necissisarily symmetrical, just split up.

NeoTA: it's approximately symmetrical because if you take either of the two sets individually, they make sense, and they also make sense as a whole.

Bob: I would call this sort of thing a "parallel" lump... neither symetrical nor parallel is an accurate description of what is going on here-- but regardless of what we call the technique, the concept of splitting incompatable data into a separate lump, while keeping compatable data in the original lump is good.
