This article (or part thereof) is obsolete. It may have made sense in the past, but it does not make sense now. It is kept here only for historic curiosity and/or posterity.

A program written by NeoTA (David Gowers) that updates all graphics in an RPG file to match a new master palette by remapping colors to the nearest match in the new palette, unlike the OHR's built-in palette import, which does not update any graphics.

As of OHRRPGCE version Fufluns CHGPAL is obsolete and no longer does anything when run except remap tilesets.

CHGPAL can be used with previous versions from Werewaffle (2008) - Etheldreme (2017), but only remaps graphics, it does not import the new master palette. Instead, you should first run CHGPAL to update the graphics, and then import the new master palette normally using Custom. (The UI colors will be remapped to the nearest matches by the second step; CHGPAL doesn't remap them but Custom does).
