Once upon a time, the FAQ on this site wasn't actually a list of frequently asked questions. Rather, it was an extremely long list of questions that visitors were encouraged to add their own questions to, even if they were the only person who had ever though to ask. This sometimes led to pages answering questions that were vague, or that didn't really make sense, or where the answer was just "you can't do that."
