Yes. Go to the font editor, and pick Import Font. In the import subdirectory is a font named Japanese and English.ohf

You can use this font to write text boxes that contain both Japanese and English text-- the rest is up to you Note that you can do a japanese game only for children because just like with Chinese, it is not possible to make a game using the basic 2000 kanjis currently used in modern japanese. It may be will be possible in a rather distant futur if custom's memory has improved so much that it will be able to store all the kanjis requiered in Chinese and Japanese.
