Arfenhouse was originally a series of three RPG games by Misteroo (Sailoroo) from the early days of the OHRRPGCE. The third part is the most referenced one. A fourth game was made by Seppel, an ally of Misteroo.

Arfenhouse!!!1[edit]

There is not much happening in the first game of the Arfenhouse series. The one and only boss is the "Eivl Kitty", some cat, which the Housemaster, the peacekeeper of some house, must defeat.

Arfenhouse!!!1 TOO!!!![edit]

For the second part, Housemaster gets the two allies "Pikahcu" and "Joseph" to defeat once again the "Evil Kitty" in a few short battles. Misteroo intentionally misspelled more words this time.

Arfenhouse!!!1 3!!!!!!![edit]

(also referenced as Arfenhouse!!!1 #!!!!!!!) This time, the number of misspelled words grows over a level, that even dyslexics couldn't reproduce. Housemaster's task grows too, as an evil spaceship threatens the world. More allies and more enemys make a much longer RPG than the first two games.

Arfenhouse! FOR!!1[edit]

(known in the title as Arfenhouse 4 DISC 1!!!) In 2003, Seppel was to blame for another Arfenhouse game with the approval of Misteroo. It got some basic story and gameplay design and was critisised for that. There was never a Disc 2 released.

Reception[edit]

Arfenhouse 3 got voted as the most popular OHRRPGCE game in the TOP 30 rankings in Spring 2001, right after its release. Players back then laughed about the jokes and the deliberatly misspelled words, but as their humor changed, their view about Arfenhouse changed, too. Today, it is sometimes referenced as a bad game made on purpouse, that fitted the teens humour very well.

Misc[edit]

In all games, the first music after advancing the title screen is Clorinda False, Adieu by Thomas Morley from the 16th century.

There were seven Arfenhouse movies (2002-2007) made by a group of makers including the original author of the games, Misteroo. These movies raised some popularity outside the OHRRPGCE community with a similar humour like the games.
